Now, I have always said that I wasn't going to play kids songs in my car.
But, I'm gonna make an exception for you. Plus I think you're really gonna like this CD.
I can't wait to dance with you to it.

Baby g,
Now I sometimes feel you kick, punch or move around inside me.
It feels funny, like bubbles popping in my belly.  I like it.
Your Pops is jealous that he can't feel you too, but soon, when you get bigger and stronger he'll be able to feel you horsing around in my belly. I'll let you know what he thinks of it.

Dear Baby g,

Today is Christmas day and your Pops and I found out some exciting news.

Two and a half weeks ago we went to the doctor for your twenty-week ultrasound.  We were so happy to hear that you are growing well.  They also wanted to tell us if you were a girl or boy.  And although we really wanted to know right then we asked them to not tell us but to write it down and put it in an envelope.  

I took that envelope to the baby clothes store and picked two outfits for you, one if you were a girl and one if you were a boy.  I took them to the salesgirl, opened the envelope and asked her to put the correct outfit in a bag and not let me see it.

I paid and left the store.  When we got home I shoved the bag into a box and put it under the Christmas tree.

It was hard but we waited, and waited and waited some more, until today.  Today, after everyone had opened their Christmas presents at Nana and Poppos, we got to open our best gift of Christmas 2011, your red and white box!  And this is what we found…..
